hey guy's need some help, I have had many v-bars I just got a new neo, I am setting it up for my nitro. I go through the whole set up perfect except when I get to the gov 2 page. I check the box for control of throttle servo to set lower and upper limits, the upper limits works fine slide slider till full open, but the lower one dose nothing no matter where you move the slider!! I have radio and neo set up exactly the the vstabi web shows thank you for your help tony.

Did you use the kill switch at the same time (which is needed)?

I do have throttle cut set up like your web show's. do you mean I have to apply throttle cut while I am setting up low end throttle in gov 2 page? thank you very much for your help

test hovered neo today everything working except gov it is on nitro, i see green light on green is working so sensor is working. when i go to bank one it shows 1850, then bank two shows 2000. but in the air gov will not turn on?? please help thanks tony

not sure how to do that, with neo can I run bank one as stick control then 2 and 3 as gov mode or do I need to have bank 1-3 set on gov? my log shows all banks turning on and off with no gov glitch's

For stick controlled bank:

Set up as needed in the setup- gov - nitro special
The throttle at zero is the basic throttle, the throttle at full is the basic+collective add
So set up basic first, then hover and set up add.

I can't find a reason why the gov won't engage - do you have a correct rpm signal reading on your vbc display?
How long didi you wait to get the gov a chance for dialing in the headspeed?

yes I have a good green signal light for sensor, and yes on vbar screen I have 1550 1850 2000. it shows coreect rpm when I move to bank one two and three. I let it try to turn on for about 30 seconds each time to get the head speed but still nothing, don't know what to try next I have never had this problem before! thank you for help trying to solve this

Is the motor switch a seperate one and does it show "Run"?

Also - does it show "Stop" before?

Is the throttle bar moving up in "run"?

yes my futaba is set up per instructions on vstabi web, I have motor on off on right hand corner. yes I see on vbar screen stop- idle- run, when I move motor stop switch and I see rpm bar going up for required heedspeed. man I cant figure out what I am missing

- which ESC is it?
- where is it connected?
- does it provide a RPM signal?

this is not electric, no esc, it is on nitro/gasser. yes I have rpm magnet sensor with magnet installed in main gear with 1to1 ratio, and green light comes on with magnet,and it is in rpm port. thanks tony

Run the heli with the pc soft (or as best with a VBC) - and have a look at the rpm display. Measure additional externally. How is the RPM reading and your measured RPM?

think I might have found something on your vstabi website under setup for futaba sbus your receiver page shows aux1 set as channel 8 and your aux2 set as channel 10 but mine on my receiver page shows aux2 and aux3 not aux1 and aux2 does this matter? and how do I fix it?

The AUX2 and 3 should match to the outputs - use a servo to check there ;-)

I changed it after doing the screenshots ...

Aux 2 works in conjunction with channel 8 throttle cut and I see it changing on the screen so that is working correctly. I think Aux 3 is the problem. It does not change percentage with any switch that I move and if I look at the VBar receiver page Aux 3 bar is showing 60% blue and does not change with any switch combination. Where should I look for my Aux 3 and what does it control? I have a Futaba 14SG

For test purpose on the bench - i would assign a known input like collective stick first. If it works with this it is just a TX programming thing.

when you say set up basic stick first you mean in gov page under blue doctors hat correct? I see box that says basic witch mine says 0. I am sure that is not correct? I need to spool heli up to half stick and move the # in box up from zero to get my 1550 head speed at have stick. is this correct? and my collective add is at 100% already so I might have to move that down correct? thanks for all your help

Yep - the basic is dialed in at stick center, and the add after this in a hover or medium climb.

ok set basic throttle box at 30 heli show's 1500 at mid stick, and I have comp add box at 75. are these number's somewhere in the ball park? and if I raise basic throttle box to a higher number like 50 should that raise or lower rpm's at have stick? thank you very much for all your help

looks well. The more basic throttle - the more headspeed (w/o gov sensor) you may get.

ok I have made the switch to v control think I am set up very close, this is on my gobin gasser I have bank one at basic throttle set at 52 with collective comp at 30 at 1550 head speed , then bank two basic throttle at 76 with collective comp at 35 at 1850 head speed, then bank three is basic throttle is 80 with collective comp at 40 with 2000 head speed and I have my min throttle set 20 points lower than bank one basic witch puts it at 32 for my min? dose this look some what the numbers I should be close too? thank you fot all your help
