What is the correct way to setup Idle for a plane on Vbar

Hello

I want to have my motor start spinning soon as I turn the motor on. So idle like they use on gas powerd planes. To slow down the plane when doing downwards maneuvers. What is the correct way to set this up ? Is there a setting for thise somewhere ?

I would just set it as gas/nitro instead of electric and adjust the idle then.

Okay and doing the end points again isn’t gonna give problems ? Also what is the reason why it’s not possible on the electric settings ?

Just do nothing with the Endpoints. If they have been teached in with the electric, they are the same.

Consider - the nitro config does nothing else than adding a idle value - so it is exactly what you need. And we named it Gas/Nitro as it is mostly used on gas/nitro motors.

Thanks for the reply! So I can use the Idle value in the throttle menu ?
Put it on 5 and with the motor switch off it will not turn ?
Or does it ? And do I need a second switch like a motor kill for nitro ?

1 - yes
2 - yes
3 - no kill needed, just motor off will stop

Suggestion: Connect a old servo instead ESC and check ;-)

Hi Rainer

I tried to put the model on nitro/gas powered. But the idle value in the motor menu keeps grey. Also restarted the model to see if it needed that. But didn’t change anything.

What am I missing ?

Please set the idle mode in the setup ... there is a button ...
