Vbar RX-only 7 channel problem with AUX1 port

Hi,

I've purchased Vbar RX-only 7 channel receiver in order to use VControl with Goosky S2. I would like to utilize SBUS connection from Vbar to Goosky FBL.

In VControl macrocells I/O configuration there's an option to setup SBUS on AUX1 port however it seems it's impossible to power up the Vbar via AUX1 port. This behavior is different than e.g. Vbar EVO, which is accepting power over AUX1.

Can someone please confirm above AUX1 port limitation?

Hello,

there is no power limit. The power connections are just routed through w/o passing any electronics.

We'll proceed on the RMA and see what is here.

Hi,

I've received new device but issue stays the same. I'm not able to use SBUS via AUX1 port.

How is port AUX1 different on RX-only receiver and EVO?

Update:
Issue was resolved by using different polarity than when connecting to CH1 or CH2 port - plug has to be rotated 180 degrees for AUX1. I haven't tried that before because I was afraid to fry the board.

Hmmm ... could you please post a image how you have plugged in the power on AUX1 and CH2?

Also how a servo needs to be plugged in at CH1/2 to get it working?

This is kind of strange here ...

What was very misleading was that in order to power up the vbasic over CH1 or CH2 (-) wire has to be at the bottom but for AUX1 it has to be at the top (please check attached photo).

Now integration with Goosky S2 and S1 FBL via SBUS works fine.

Well - the label shows it correctly - the drawing at the RPM socket is "for all sockets". Signal at the bottom, GND on top. Just vice versa as a NEO/EVO.
