V-Basic VS Vbar 9 and 7 ch Receivers.

What is the difference between the V-basic and the new 7 & 9 Ch RX ?
Beside the new receivers only being capable of RX why would anyone choose to buy a RX over a V-basic for a few dollars cheaper. ? Really what's the savings 10 USD ?
The v-basic allows for future upgrades you can use it as a Rx and several other options.

Besides the 7ch being a mini witch really is not such a "mini" I cannot seam to justify going with the RX ..

Will the V-Basic be discontinued, taken off the market ?

the reasoning is indeed the pricing.

EUR 119.00 retail vs. 79.00 retail (9 ch) or 69.00 retail (7 ch), all incl. 19 % German VAT.

If the pricing for VBasic is more favorable, elsewhere, for whatever reason, of course it makes more sense to go VBasic, and have the option to update.

There are lots of guys out there who only need a receiver, for a foamy or other smallish/little expensive model, who appreciate it, and who can live with the fact that the RX Only is what it is, can not be updated.

VBasic is still available, and it will be, and later on as spin-off of the EVO.

Gotcha, well here at Mikado USA the 7ch is 99$ and the 9ch is 109$
The v-basic is 119$

Thank you for the explanation, this is why I stopped ordering from Mikado USA and purchase through the EU. Just hoping the V-basic was not to be discontinued

Does the RX Neo’s have the Trim function on a switch like the V-basic does with out V-plane ?

yes they do. Trim while you fly the model.
It's basically a VBasic, just with just one firmware option—VBasic.
