Vplane and Sbus

Hi RV
Vplane with Sbus output from Neo into a power distribution box.

Am I correct in assuming that at the flight controls channel's macrocells one has to select FC-xxxx as input for the gyro function to work?

Setting maximum throw is that still done in the wingmixer setup?

Will all the AGILITY and GYRO settings in flight settings still be active for BANK switching as per normal VPlane?

Trying to help a friend with this setup so does not have the power distribution box with me to experiment and do the setup.

Okay ...

FCxxx is the Flight Control of each single Axis. This control is mixed with others and set with directions, endpoints etc in the Wingmixer.

So - if you need the "raw" but calculated signal - use FCxxx.

If you need the "Wingmixer output" - just use MCyy (yy is the channel number of the original output socket as long as there is nothing programmed in the MCyy cells) - this is the fully mixed signal of each servo output.

Thanks for the info. I am still a little confused about what to use when on each flight control output. What we have is that if everything is left at default with only SBus selected as output from the Neo, then there are no gyro stabilization and the wingmixers have no effect on the channels.

So if one choose say FC-ELEVATOR as input at the macrocell channel for say the elevator port then the gyro has been introduced to the channel. Going back to the wingmixer then it still has no effect on the endpoints of the channel.

So my question is, how to have both working when the output is chosen as SBus from the Neo with Vplane?

Just consider the wingmixer outputs are assigned to the sockets:

CH1, Tail, CH2,CH3,CH4,AUX3 (See setup panel) - Example with Ch1 (Elevator):

Now go to the MC Setup and dial in - starting at MC11 as this is the first channel on the external output:

MC11 - Channel - Input from Ch1

In your pic of macrocell 11E1CH1 is what we use, but if you select input signal as Channel 1 then the wing mixers work but not the gyros. If we select input as FC Elevator then the gyro works but the wing mixer settings not.

This is from the guy I am helping as I do not have a test rig with SBus unit to verify.

It is working including Gyros.

You can set up e.g AUX2 in this way (Channel cell with CH1 as Input) and connect a servo there to check.
