How do I setup Throttle trim using pot1 or 2

I have read the instructions and cannot get the pot 1 or 2 to work as a throttle trim for my glow aircraft. I am using the old VBC and the neo basic. I've tried everything I can think of to get this to work and have had no success. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Its a neo basic and original VBC

Hmmm ... indeed ... seem to be not working here ;-(

But - i have a idea with the MC's

- Set Throws to +-100 in setup
- Assign a channel Cell to the ESC output, lets say as Input Cell 20.
- In Cell 20 we use a MIX - Inputs are Cells 21,22,23 driven by Motor Switch (21 is off)
- Cell 21 is a Channel driven by FC ESC (which gives -100 at Motor off)
- Cell 22 is now the Idle Cell. Set up a useful 3-point curve, e.g. -100...-90...-80 and assign a poti you like
- Cell 23 (for flying) must be a Mixer of course- One Part is cell 22 (to keep the idle), the other is FC ESC

The benfit is now:

Instead of using a poti for "full range" - once you know your usual idle value you can shift the curve in Cell 22 so it is "usual in center" and could be altered by a defined margin you like depending on the steepness of your curve ;-)

Full Throttle Limit must be set in Cell 20 now with the highest trim and throttle of course.
