VPlane Fine Tuning

Can you please give me some guidance on VPlane fine tuning.

After setting up a Sebart Sebach 342 30E, I did some test flights and slowly increased gains on all axes. After getting to the point where the ailerons oscillate when flying at high speed, I started to increase the Throttle gain reduction. This gave me a locked in feel at slow speeds but without oscillations at high speeds. But now my problem is when I'm doing a vertical climb, I'm using a lot of throttle but the plane isn't moving fast and feels less stable.

What is the best way to find the sweet spot between gains and gain reduction? Do you have any suggested settings for my model?

I don't really have the right answer for you, but I can tell you what I've been doing and what seems to be ok for me and I don't have that vertical climb out issue. I simply set that throttle reduction to 10, and maybe one of my pattern types I set to 15, I can check. Then I started raising my gains until the aileron oscillations and then just backed off a few points. My planes seem to fly fairly similar to my helis now as far as being completely locked in.
