Current Sensor Couple Questions

I have the current sensor set up with the battery ID.

I set up the batteries in the vControl. 2x 6s (for 12s) 3000 packs.

When I fly it counts down 90%, 80%, etc. When it says 30% I land.

Here are the questions:
- The battery setup says fly to 30%. But there is the vcontrol does not give a warning when it gets to 30%. It just keeps going. I have it set up so I only to fly to 30%
- When I land the flight summary screen says I only used 50% of the battery. However, it just announced that I used 70%, and my hyperion battery checker says that there is 29% left.

What did I miss in the setup that I do not get a warning? and why is there a difference between the flight summary screen and the telemetry.

Our % Value is the capacity which you want to use!

So - at 0% announcement - the set up 30% are still in the battery.

So are you saying that under battery setup / use capacity, where i changed it from 40%/60% to 30%/70%, change it back and all is well? The alarm will work, and all the numbers will match?

If you tell the setup you want to use 70% of the capacity, then you fly until the announcement/bar-graph say 0%. Set up is relative to the battery, after that it is relative to your flight time.

I programmed my batteries to have 30% remaining in the setup. When I fly I fly until the warning says 0% remaining. After landing and removing the battery my Hyperion checker usually shows 28 or 29% remaining as programmed.

Hi,

a lipo checker calculating only by the current voltage can be off a few percent, which is normal.

I find, on an average balanced pack, that the used capacity and the recharged capacity only differ by a few milliamps ... which is accurate enough winking smiley

Kind regards

Yep - just try it on the bench w/o blades - it will work ;-)
