I find the "favorite batteries" per helicopter feature very convenient, but limiting to only 5 "favorite battery" limits the usefulness of this feature. Is it possible to increase the "favorite batteries" from 5 to a more useful number like 10, 12, or even 20 "favorite batteries" per model?

Pleased use a Battery ID sensor and RFID Tags. This is what it is made for and what you need ;-)

Hello Rainer,

I have personal experience using RFID tags from the Revolectrix Bump Control days. I am glad I tried the RFID tags, but it is not something I want to pursue any more.

I am happy with the functionality of the “favorite batteries”, but I would be even happier if the line of code replaced the “5” with a larger number like “12”, “15”, or even “20”.

Thank you!!

I am sorry - we won't do this.

I use the Battery ID since first day w/o trouble - and it is the way to go.

I am very disappointed with this response.

Hi again,

honestly, on helis > 500 size, and when using different batteries on different helis, I'd use Battery ID any day.
It's different from other systems, it's fully integrated with the model and the transmitter, not an extra gadget which you need to 'bump'.
Now with 2nd generation it's even more versatile, since it can carry over updated battery data, e.g. from one transmitter to the next.

Manual selection, on a longer list, is always a risk (and tedious), even (more so) with the extra dialog (do you really want to ..?).

BatteryID really makes your live easier smiling smiley

Cheers
