Rate parameter in VBCt

In VBCt you have a parameter named “rate”. What it actually controlls? What impact on helicopter flying style?

It controls the maximum target rate at full stick deflection.

I was told it controls the turning rate of the tail. Means 100 in setting gives a turning speed of 360 deg in 1 second at full stick. ??
Does it control roll rate same, or??

Rate = target Rate of tail at full stick
Agility = target Rate of cyclic at full stick

The values are w/o dimensions. Just set as likely.

Keep in mind that the max. Rate is limited from the physics and if you dial up one of them w/o getting a result - you're at the end. Especially in cyclic it will give you then a hint with lots of cyclic ring messages in the log.

Consider to do optimizer flights at half deflection cyclic and (separate) stops on tail after altering them to get the forwarding (optimizer values) matched to the requested rates and helicopter physics.
