Switch assignments

Hi,


I recently had to reconfigure my V-Control (memory "card" data had gone corrupt).

When setting up the switch assignments, I noticed two things:

Issue Nr. 1: I can't de-assign the buddy switch (this used to be possible):





As you can see, the "Off" and "On" buttons are greyed out, so I can't de-assign the switch. Not that it has to be de-assigned if one does not use the buddy system, but it used to be possible to de-assign this in the past. It does not matter if the buddy app is installed or not, it's just not possible to remove the switch assignment right now.



Issue Nr. 2: I've assigned Parameter Lock to Switch 3, but it does not show it being assigned in the dialog menu, even though it is.

1) the buddy swith is not only for buddyboxing, it is just another virtual switch which can be used for others too. So - if someone did not bind in buddy mode (needs to bind the buddy in addition manually each flight) - it is not a buddy switch at all, it is just a switch named "buddy".

Thanks for the fast response, during the weekend even!

Just updated, the Parameter Lock assignment is now visible, thanks.

I'm aware the "Buddy" virtual switch can be used for other functions as well, it's just that I'm forced to assign it somewhere (to a switch I already use for other stuff), even though I don't use it for any functions. I'm fairly sure I could remove the assignment in the past, though not anymore.






I just thought of another thing (digressing from the topic):

Now, I do have Option 3 (nitro throttle cut in my case) and Safety (electric throttle safe) assigned to the same switch, which is fine.

However, there's no voice feedback for these functions in the Talking Switches app.

Voice feedback is only on functional switches when a model is connected like Motor, Bank, Buddy (If Buddyboxing) and the Par Lock.

If you need some more feedback - please use the Pro App bundle where each switch can be assigned in seperate positions and moves individually for each model to lots of phrases.
