VBCt and kontronik ESC

Hello everybody,

when I was looking at the vbct update, I saw the update maintenance from october 2021 said something related to kontronik ESC : « The Kontronik App is already prepared for ESC setup in the future. »

Does it mean we will able to modify the specific kontronik esc parameters directly from the radio without using progunit / bluetooth module / stick programming mode ?

if yes, when does the app will be activated? what is needed? will it work with all the kontronik esc or just a subset (kolibri, kosmik HVI)

Yes, you are on the right track.

The App is already finished and tested and also already on the VBCt of our customers. So nothing to do from here, it will auto detect and self-enable later if a ESC with the right firmware is detected ;-)

Kontronik seem to work currently on the Firmware Finish (other reasons, not telemetry regarding). Please ask them about the Release date. Also which ESC might be possible, consider we need bidirectional communication, probably requires ESC's with already built in TelMe as i had for testing here.

Other telemetry updates:



Default telemetry protocol has been changed to "Mikado".
When the telemetry protocol "Mikado" is loaded, the stick travels are automatically set to match "Mikado". These no longer need to be taught in.
