RC Volt telemetry

I have a vbar neo vlink and Scorpion Tribunus II 6s-120 I set bec to 7.3 volt and RC volt telemetry reads 7.10-7.15 volt. The same on 8.2 volt on bec 0.20-0.15 lower than set value. Any reason for this?

Well - there might be a voltage loss in the wires and also - our volt monitoring isn't a calibrated precision instrument ;-)

Just verify with a multimeter at the NEO sockets, i am curious.

I have verified with multimeter it measures the same value 7.15 volt. I have used the Scorpion supplied master and slave cable from esc to neo.

Wow - a Fluke, not a chinese crap - well done!

So it seems to be that either the leads may drop the voltage or the Scorpion BEC Voltage controller has some differences ...

I would not use anything else than a precision smiling smiley instrument and it seems the neo is spot on in reading the voltage level. A little Fluke. So variation in Scorpion bec voltage or voltage drop over the cables. I can live with that now that I now why there was a difference. Thank’s.

Just a remark:

Voltage drop only occurs if current is drawn. So a voltage difference caused by wires is only appearing if there is load somwhere in the system. Typically this fluctuates with the load. It the deviation appears static, its a measurement error.

I think main problem here is that in the VBAR Scorpion settings it looks like you can set 7.3 volt in the BEC. But in Proto it is the value 7.1 volt that is fixed BEC value.
