Resolution in parameter value slider

Resolution in parameter value slider Steps 40 units when setting value. Should it be like this?

Yes. We have 7 Bits for the complete range 0-4800 - and so 40 1/min is the resolution given here.

Ok Headspeed goes from 480 to 9600 in steps of 40 (seems to be 8bit resolution (9600-480)/228=40 per/step) as you told me but there are other sliders with less range that is not 1 step resolution in slider. BTW what happens if I set 9600 as rpm?

Sound volume values goes from 0-100 in steps of 3.
Brightness values goes from 0-100 in steps of 1 as expected.
Auto Switchoff Off Time hours from 10-600 in steps of 1 as expected.
