Bec voltage telemetry logs.
December 28, 2018 07:53AM
Hi.
My setup is logo690,neo,vbc,jive pro 120,telme,Optiguard backup,bec at 7.4v.
In afterflight logs i always see 5,4 volts minimum voltage.
I assume that it logging bec voltage before jive initialise, when there is default 5,5 volts.
But i want to see real minimum volts that bec drops during flight.
Is there any solution?
Maybe i need to setup something?
Or is it Optiguard involved in this?
Or,can you make an update that logging wil pause a few secs after system powered up and bec stabilizes it's voltage?
Thanks in advance.
George.

The BEC Voltage is logged when it will be dangerous or worth to take a look.

We have 4.2V, 3.8V, 3.2V and 2.5V as thresholds. So - as you don't gat any entry all is well. Especially the 3.2 and 2.5 V is very fast in logging, on a short voltage drop it may come up w/o having the others before.

So - a continious BEC Voltage logging in flight isn't necessary as we have some warn flags in the flight log.

When is the 5.4V? This must be flight pack voltage! Please post the complete log where it is. I think you have it as Flight pack Voltage at the end - and this comes just from you switch on/off handling! - Consider turning of the Optiguard first and then disconnect the flight battery - otherwise the ESC will get some voltage from the Opti and think it is from Flight pack ….

It's beeing logged as min bec voltage.
See attatched picture.
PS
I always disconnect optiguard first before disconnecting batteries.

Ok - this value comes from the ESC - so how this value is calculated must be answered by Kontronik.

Could you please turn on/off once w/o the guard?

Ok
I will try later.
Is there any chance making it logging in a few seconds later this parameter?
Or it is nessesary to log it immediately for 3.2 and 2.5 volts?

Well - a log entry makes only sense in case of danger, so the 3.2 V is where most Servos quit at least - and 2.5 where the NEO will stop working soon. All other voltages depend on your servos, BEC etc - and it might be a challenge to find the right thresholds for a log entry on all the combinations out. So - we have 2 limits before it will be really dangerous as "warning step" - and if there is none of them in a log after a flight - all should be ok.

Ok
I connected without Optiguard.
Because esc was cold it not initialized and servos gone crazy.(this is common issue for kontronik)
After warming up esc it initialized and it was same value in logs,5.6v min.
So that min bec registers kontronik and i don't see any solution.
Thanks anyways!
My regards.
