Yes - there are 2 exceptions:
Having a external sensor it can be mounted in every position as long as the external one is used. But - if the external fails or we trigger Rescue - the internal ones are in use. And - the external ones have less resolution, the internal ones are more precise. So - at all- this makes no sense.
And of course if someone use it as VBasic the gyros are disabled ....
