Hello.
I find that to get the agility on my Logo 550sx and 550se that I want, I need to either turn up the travels in my radio so that it gives a higher than 100 reading for aileron and elevator in the vbar channel travel readouts, or to use the PC software to manually type in an Agility value higher than what you can set with the Agility slider. (the slider is limited to 120).
With the Vbar Control, the stick travels are automatically setup just by moving the sticks, so there doesn't appear to be a way to "overdrive" the stick travel. I'm also assuming the Agility setting accessible by the radio will be similar to the Control Panel where it only lets you increase it to a value of 120.
So, with the Vbar Control, if your roll and flip rates aren't up to the speed you want with the Agility set to 120, is there any way to adjust them faster? If not, can the version 6 software be tweaked to allow a higher Agility setting than 120??

Hello Kevin,
no heli could physically follow a rate with 120 (from stick) multiplied with 120 from VBar =144 end Agility at full stick deflection.
There might be another reason here - we'll see. Can you please post your current V5 file here?

Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear. Currently on my 550sx and 550se, I don't do both .....increase TX travels AND manually set the Agility setting on the Vbar higher. I'm just increasing the Agility value. On my SX, I increased it to 140 and on my SE, I increased it to 150. I initially tried it on my SE going by 10 unit increments until I got it to where I liked the max roll/flip rate. I then tried the same setting on my SE, but 150 was too fast with the shorter blades and moved that one to 140. I'm using the stock Edge blades on both helis.
Below is the contents of my 550se vbar config file. In the café section, it won't let me attach a vbr file. Please let me know if you see anything weird. My Tx is set up to give 100 indication in the Transm screen of the PC setup page on all channels except Collective in which I tweaked it a little to get equal positive and negative full collective.
I just noticed that on the Vbar website, the photos of a JR 12x radio setup, it shows the travel adjusts being in the 116-118 range. On my 12X, that would produce a value higher than 100 in the Transm screen of the Vbar setup. For 100 in the vbar, I need 102-104 in my travel adjusts.
I'm running MKS servos (850) on cyclic and (880) on the tail. The control ball on the cyclic servo output arms is at the outer hole which I believe is 21mm. I had tried it on the inner hole first, but needed full slider on the collective setup tab to get the 14 degrees of collective I wanted.
It flys awesome with this config. If you can see a reason I'm needing higher than normal Agility settings in my setup to get the desired roll/flip rate, please let me know.

The basic thing you do with this "overdrive" is setting higher values to the optimizers. This of course can help driving the swash to the limits faster and give you the feel you like.
This is possible by manually editing the optimizers (value is 75), and is possible with VBar Control too.
