Best/Recommended Servos for new Logo 700

Hi guys.

I'm planning my build for the upcoming (2016) Logo 700.

In regard to servos, what are the BEST ones to use? (no back EMF/reverse current IE: Graupner HBS 860 BB MG, Futaba BLS 175 HV)

or Initializing Problems IE: Savox SB 2271 SG or Align servos.


I have used Futaba BLS 451 & 251 in the past with no problems but it seems they have been discontinued/replaced.

I'm not sure if I want (or need) to go high voltage but do not want to have to add capacitors/diodes. I prefer to keep the electronics simple & reliable.

So to update my thread, I'm now thinking about using MKS cyclic and tail servos on my new 700 instead of Futaba.

Thinking about the 500 (X6) series so I can (hopefully) use the standard Mikado arm for Futabas.

I want to keep current draw down.

Any other suggestions?

I also used the BLS451/251 Combo in most of my Helis..

For my new 700 I also want to try MKS Servos - I choose the MKS D-945 TW

I did a search for the D-945 TW, and it only came up as a Hitec servo ??? Not MKS.

It looks like (upon Kevin and a few others recommendations), I'm going to try MKS servos. Specifically the X6 (Futaba spline) so that I can use stock Mikado (Futaba) arms.

These should be a nice upgrade from BLS 451/251's.
