logo/ KDE 505 motor

I have one of these motors brand new I put in my logo 700 XXtreme. I am running this on 14s. yge 160 esc. When I fly this motor the motor gets crazy hot. And im not even beating on it . Is this normal. Idu N-1850, idu1-1950, idu 2-2080. The crazy hot is in idu-1 I have not even temped it in idu 2. Just sport flying windings are at 196 degrees in idu 1.

has any other logo flyers tried this motor

sorry, no experience at the factory or in the team, I'm afraid. But maybe a fellow flyer can chime in.

By the data and the cell count given (14s on a 505 kV motor compared to the stock 520 kV motor at 12s I can only guess that the motor is running with rather low PWM even at the high head speed ...

What kHz is the ESC set to?

OK my Bad, hehe the little things I over look make me feel like a dummy sometimes. So with running a KDE 505kv motor with a 16 tooth pinion and trying to hit the HS at 2080 in IDL2 , The gearing is off. So I had to Jump my HS to 2150 and dropped my Pitch to 12 degrees. This will help.
