Hi Chris,

yes 106t Mod 1 Main gear and 6mm motor shaft diameter pinions (6x32mm motor shaft required)

The boom is a full carbon boom, not only carbon look spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Hope the 580 is priced more competitive than the new 700 V2 , first impressions I am reading are 'How much!!). drinking smiley

I will pass on the 700 but hope 580 is competitive price.

Ha ha yes indeed, still awaiting the price, was waiting for Logo 700'but instead went for OMP M7 after recommendation and seeing one, so glad I chose that it is awesome and new Logo 700 price would be too high anyway , so it is same scenario again, very keen on OMP M5 but for now will await Logo 580 price but if no joy in a couple of months it will be M5.

I assume that the 580 can be stretched to take 600 blades( like the 550se ) by simply using a 600 boom and belt and pushrod, everything else is the same yes?
Or if boom diameter has increased would there be a stretch kit?

Hi,

to early to tell, but I guess you could retrofit the tail drive pulleys and belt, boom (and tail boom supports, the aluminum boom and particularly if it's longer won't last ...) from a 600 size, if you wanted to stretch.

I honestly highly doubt that we will start the small increment grading again like we had it, from 200-480XX-500-DX-3D-550-SX-SE-600-SX-SE-700-800 (and respective combos), or dilute round the back with stretch kits.

The plan is more like 200-500 direct drive-580-700-800 (kits with blades).

Thanks for info Eddi, to be fair probably not much noticeable to be gained from swinging 600s to 580s really.

Looking at video, the 580 seems to have lower skids, are these new to this model or were they already available?

How are we looking for a release date ( best guess will do)?

Hi Chris,

yes, the lower skids are new both to the 580 and the 700.

Best guess ... later this year, but that's been the story since ROTOR Live, sorry for that.
There's no rush or deadline at our end, once everything's in place and once we're satisfied, we'll start releasing.

Best,
