Questions regarding the new Logo 200

I didn't know where to post about the Logo 200.

I have several questions about the new Logo 200:

1) Can the Neo mini be upgraded to the "Pro" version, so
the swash can be adjusted level in the Full positive and Full negative collective
positions?

2) What is the main shaft diameter so that I can get the appropriate swash leveler tool?

3) What ESC is used?

4) What features of the ESC are programmable(if any)?

5) Assuming an internal SBEC, can the SBEC output voltage(and/or current) be adjusted?

6) And what is the estimated cost of the Logo 200? I already have a Vcontrol Touch Tx.

7) Will a carrying case for the Logo 200 be available as an option?

I guess we will have to make a 200 board, or extend this one to 200-600 size

Now, answers:

1) yes, Pro and Pro Rescue are available as options. It's a full blown VBar NEO (mini, but still) after all.

2) 4 mm. Tbh, and I have set up our prototypes, after just putting the NEO mini on, I never found the need to adjust anything so far, but a few trim clicks to level the swash plate rectangular to the main shaft, by eyeballing it, and adjusting zero collective by folding the blades. Then, a couple of clicks of adjustment in the trim flight menu, until piros are on the spot, job done. The trim flight itself does not work very well on such small birds, they are too quick and nimble for it to get any useful data.

3) It's a 2 in 1 ESC supplied by our partner OMP, for main and tail motor. We tried other ESCs, result: a waste of time and money.

5) electronics run off a BEC at 5 V, but the BEC can not be adjusted. And it's not necessary anyway, it just works. You can more or less throw your expectations and concerns aside, which you might want to apply, from regular sized or other micro models.

6) Euro retail price incl. 19 % VAT will very likely have a 5 as the first digit, and then some.

7) Thinking about it.

Tbh, this is the first heli where it never came to my mind to change or update/upgrade anything. It's very close to the FPH

Upside, if you take the bind and fly price, you don't have to throw the same amount of $$ into the balance to make it flyable. The only thing you might ever want are more batteries and a second or third handy quick charger
Downside, it may be boring, not to have to fiddle with it, just to fly and enjoy.

tbh I can not yet tell for sure, until we have the final production samples here.
But don't worry, we will offer battery packs afaik, and then, there's still enough time to order packs once you have the model in hands



@ Gene

1) we have a brushless tail motor with a fixed pitch tail rotor/propeller, rpm control from idle to full throttle, no reversing

2) XT30 afaik, yes, and JST XH for balancing

3) I can not tell, but most chargers can be set up to charge 3s packs with the respective current, you'd just need a charging wire with XT30 connector



@ M le_docteur,

1° we are discussing it, probably yes

2° most probably at the same time the LOGO 200 will be available, one depends on the other and vice versa—right now the ETA on both is approximately the same

3° it's not yet set in stone, but afaik 1 flight pack and possibly a second set of main blades, a second tail rotor and some small parts—the plan is to also have spare battery packs available for ordering, at the time we start shipping the 200 itself

I'm a very interested by a pack Logo 200 + Vbar Touch.
My current vbar non touch is currently expected by its new user
Do I have for wait or should I'll go to a vbar touch now ?

it's never to early to go for a Touch especially if it's not just for the 200, so I'd probably not wait.

Anti Gravity is a new Parameter coming with 6.4, so it will be available for all, after the update.

NEOs, that is, it uses sensors not available yet, on legacy VBars (e.g. Mini/Blueline/Silverline etc.).

out of the box, only RPM (for the governor).

The 2-in-1 ESC can not provide current/voltage for mAh counting.

I heard that a smaller version of the U/I sensor is on the roadmap, though, and you could also use the existing one, with thinner wires.
It's not that big after all.

June's the word, fingers crossed. Both the Mini NEO and the helis are expected to arrive in time.

Price is not yet final, but as being said, a 5 and then some, so I guess around 550.00 retail incl. 19 % VAT.

Especially shipping costs are still not really calculable :-/

I know that June begins with the first but it has like ... 30 days?

We are waiting for things to fall into place, NEO mini, the airframes, and there is no major obstacle ahead, but we can not make promises yet or name an exact date, sorry for that.

I am the same way! I keep checking everyday! It’s killing me! I’m starting to think they are enjoying torturing us. I bought a VBar control for this bird. I have never owned anything mikado so I’m excited to try both the bird and radio out.

actually, the updates on the 2020 M2 are from the LOGO 200

But the electronics, obviously, LOGO 200 has a 2-in-1 ESC + VBar NEO mini while the 2020 M2 now has a more adjustable 4-in-1.
