Logo 690sxV2 + Kolibri 140 + 6s

Hi guys,

I have a 690sx and i want to fly in 6s4400 with it. (about 1100 Rpm)

So i tested this morning and i can't go beyond 340 RPM with 60% value on VBCT

Maybe the combo HK4525 380KV (Stock) and the kolibry is not the best.

i have the prog unit for the setup kolibri and i never had bad issues with kontronik setup.

Which governor are you using? Is gear ratio set correctly if you are using Neo governor?

VControl, VBar on all.

i use Kontronik governor, i don't know if it's problem telemetry or kolibri but i feel like the logo have no power.

I tried last week to fly with the logo (i tested value between 60% to 80% and nothing change always 1280rpm) to me it's too low or the telemetry isn't good.

My goal was a setup in 6S and 1200/1300 Rpm max with the 4525-380kv

Maybe the pinion is no good, i have the stock pinion (15)

I check my setup today.

EDIT: I change the motor, i have a 4035-560kv from logo 600, same result...

When the stock motor for 12S setup has 380 kV, this motor will achieve half as much RPM with 6S. I think you need a motor with more kV.

Hi,

for the 380 kV motor, it's approx. what you can get, the max. head speed you read.

For the 560 kV motor, it should be higher (obviously) with the same pinion.

Depending on what mode the Kontronik ESC is in, it maybe has stored the max. head speed? Like Gov. Store?
This way, exchanging the motor will probably not make a difference

what I find weird is that on some youtube video guys come with stock versions to fly in 6S with 1200 Rpm and slow 3D!

Wich motor do you advise me in my case?

calculating for 380 kV, ~ 1,200 1/min are nominal/average (at 3.7 V/cell), but you will most probably get noticeable head speed drops to the end of the battery, under load.
With 450 kV, you can achieve ~ 1,200 1/min at a lower throttle opening, leaving more headroom to govern the head speed from battery full to empty.

But if you found videos on the 'net, why not try and ask the owners how they did their setup exactly? I can only provide theory so far
