Logo 550 2017 - Servo Mounts

I'm about to start my first Logo 550 build and was curious if anyone has had issues securing the servos using the provided self-tapping screws to the plastic frame? It doesn't look very secure..

Is there anything I should be aware of when mounting the servos? Or anything else for that matter!

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hello,

I guess you mean the three swashplate servo screws right?
You should not tighten them too much. There are no issues with this kind of mounting the servos to the mainframe.
You do not need loctite as well because they are cutting their own thread during tightening them and also because loctite is useless on plastic materials.

Ok cool. Thanks!!

I was advised to use Carbon Fiber Servo Spacers to help secure the servos to the frame.? Yes, the (3) Cyclic Servos on the main frame.

I'm assuming the spacers sit on the front side of the servo, facing the screw.. Have you used these.? SAB makes a set of 10 - standard size spacers.

Thanks again for your time..
