mini V-Stabi: SUMD increased number of channels causing problems?

I am using a Graupner receiver which is connected via SUMD to my mini V-Stabi.
Everything was working fine until I updated the firmware of my Graupner receiver.
Now the V-Stabi did not recognize the SUMD-Signal anymore.
I am in contact with graupner support and it seems that the problem is caused by the
increased number of channels which are provided via SUMD.
It is stated that the V-Stabi is capable of receiving 24 Channels.
What is the behaviour of the V-Stabi, if there are more than 24 channels provided?
Is the SUMD not working at all, or are only the additional channels not selectable?

Receiver: GR-18 +3xG + 3A Firmware 1.5 (working) and Firmware 1.52b up to 2.04 (not working)
Mini V-Stabi: 5.3

Maybe someone had the same issue. For any ideals I would be thankful.

Graupner had agreed to our spec from 2010 where all is defined.

If they do obviously something different now - it winn not work here with the datapackets as you see.

So - Graupner must implement a mode according to the spec of our UDI again.

in the past, it was possible to select the number of channels: e.g. SUMD08OF (which was recommended anyway).

Can you dial down 24 (I'd guess now) to 12 or 08?
