Spektrum Dx6 setup - solved

HowTO - setup Spektrum Dx6 transmitter for use with V-Bar mini gyro V5 software

Problem - V-bar software expects a standard 4 channel transmitter with no mixing but I want heli features in transmitter.
I had lots of trouble learning how to setup heli software as I selected swash type "3 servo 120 degrees" as that is what the Trex 450 heli is physically.

Solution
1- create new model - heli type
2- in SYSTEM menu > Swash Type > "normal" (not 3 servo 120 degrees )and MODE: "normal"

This gives V-bar software very basic 4 channel inputs and retains heli features - pitch and throttle curves and flight modes.
