5.2 upgrade to 5.3.4 mini blue vbar

My buddy just purchased a couple of used heli's and I was trying to help him sort it out and at the very least verify proper settings.
The online update from 5.2 to 5.3 basic fails and says not available. how do I proceed. I only have the 5.3 console. Can I get 5.2 or update the vbar or both?
