align 250 gov issues

Any ideas what this problem is??

I'm using a yge 18a esc with the stock 250 motor set at 18 degrees timing and 8Khz

Hello,

did you deactivate the internal govenor of the ESC?
If yes, reduce the govenor gain to 15 or 20 and try to spool up again on the bench.

I had a very hard time trying to get it to go into external gov mode..I DONT beleive the yge18 has it like the larger esc's by them.

As far as I know I set it to gov off, I will double check though...and if it is then I'll try changing the gain as you said and see what happens.

Default is set to 30.

I tried last night as low as 10 and as high as 40 with no improvements watsover

any other ideas?
