Logo 200 goes Scale - EC 145

Hallo zusammen,

in den letzten Wochen habe ich (man muß viel Geduld dabei haben ...) einen Rumpf von Heli-Scale-Quality mit dem Logo 200 verheiratet. Noch ist er nicht lackiert und ein paar Details fehlen - aber der Heli fliegt schonmal ganz gut ;-)

Ulrich saw my video and i told him about the model - so he requested me to built him one too. Well ... i will of course. Just ordered the needed things (some have a few weeks delivery time) - and as soon as they arrive i will post here some more infos and images.

As long as the Fuselage for the 2nd built isn't there - just a few preparations:

- Unmount all parts not needed from the main frame.
- we need the main frame and the tail motor with its plate.
- unmount bottom carbon frames and cut the tail parts (not needed)
- cut the skid holders to get a plain bottom

In case of better efficiency with the low RPM's (2200...2600 1/min) the motor is replaced by one with lower KV. Not needed in general, but recommended for best result.

Unmount the motor, remove the shaft and mount it into the new one. Also built a small "nut" (small Aluminium plate with M2.5 thread) for 2 of the motor screws and drill one hole in the motor plate with 3mm as the new motor has 3mm screws an other positions.

The whole airframe ...

When assembling main shaft and motor - just insert the shaft unless you can fix it at the flattened side with screws. Don't use the screw at the end as in the original motor.

Now - the lights ... just solder the rc switch power cable to the UI sensor output, then connect the switch to AUX1.

The switch output is connected to the LED board input (i have soldered a cable directly to the voltage regualtor).

Configure MC AUX1 as shown.

W/O having connected any motor would be the best time to do some setup changes. Otherwise the tail motor may spin accidetially when changing all to a ccw setup!

Consider we need the swash down for positive, a CCW system and tail on the left side. SO reverse them all 3. Dial in gains etc. as attached in the screenshots.

Note - the Integrals, Gains etc. can be increased massively with the blades and main head used - and are no longer that critical than on the standard head and blades. Even (if original head is kept) changing blades to softer ones (e.g. Oxy blades) will make a hughe difference here for scale fliers!
