The Logo 700 manual suggests that the servo arms should be 17mm to the ball.
How critical is this? I have Mikado Carbon arms on my 600SE but my 12V KST servos (bought for the new Logo 700) come with aluminium arm with the shortest hole at 18.5mm
I don't mind buying some Mikado arms but I guess with 12v servos the Alloy ones would be better?

Not sure if you are able to answer this yet:

I have a Logo 600SE (690) which is quite old now (2012/13 i think) and am waiting for the new 700 to appear.
Just wondering how much of the electronics I can use from my old Heli?
When the 600 SE was new, I'm sure I bought it with the Motor and ESC (Kontronic).

Servos
Batteries 2 x 6S - New

I would probably upgrade the early NEO to a EVO
Controller is VBC Touch.

It is definitely over 10 years old but still flies great so I think I have had my monies worth.
I guess its a bit like the company sweeping brush that is 25 years old and had 12 new brush heads and 5 new handles ;)

I can't seem to find any 5x25x1.5 blade shims anywhere any more, so I'm 3D printing some ABS ones.

Opinions? (BTW, the 800 flew super on the 3 flights I got in Saturday before our Sunday snow here in Texas!)

I have bought a logo 700 and I have take all my electrics from my logo XXtreme. I have YGE OEM 160HV that came whit the XX kit ( long cables ). Now have I done a new setup in the vbar. So do I have just to select vbar gov at my vbar control then put in pol cells, gear ratio. And then adjust the high and low for the gov. Or do I have select new esc and then select YGE 90lv? I’m not sure what to do here. I haven’t set the esc before it’s pre owned.

Also is there any where in vbar setup that I have to select vbar silverline in the vbar control and how the gyro is mounted like in the computer program?

Struggling with a slow, irregular tail wag on all RPM’s (1400/1600/1700 RPM) on my 800.
What is really strange is, is that it occurs irregularly. For example in a hoover the tail holds 1 or 2 seconds and starts to slowly wag back and forth than it stops and starts again. Stick input does not affect this. Same problem on all banks.
Increasing Tail gain did not help, decreasing neither. Also Changing gov gain didn’t change anything.
Same problem in Vbar gov and scorpion gov.

My setup:
Logo 800 with scorpion 4535-380kv motor
Neo vlink (with VBCT)
KST DS725mg cyclic servo’s
KST DS525mg tail servo
Tribunus 12s 130a ESC
Blades are stock and brand new. Heli was never in a crash and had 10-15 calm flights So far.

No hard 3D only hoovering and flying circuits/stall turns..

As usual I checked the tail thoroughly:
Pitch slider is smooth, blade holders are smooth, thrust bearings as per manual, tail push rod is smooth.

I tried to solve it with the new wag suppression in VBar but with a value at 70-80 it seems the Distance the tail Wags back and forth is less but still there,in a more condensed way let’s say. I guess it’s not normal I have to crank up that value so high..

I’m suspicious on the tail servo. Maybe difficult to advise me on this, but could the tail servo be the problem? I’m thinking of buying a BLS276sv futaba servo but off course I don’t want to spend the Many and still having the issue..

Any ideas what I could do?

I have recognized on my Logo Xxtreme when I do inverted pirro funnel my pirro rate isn't the same. Sometimes my tail get stock even if I don't have full throw at the stick on my transmitter isn't fun I that move. In tail expert I have 55 in acc but I change it to 75 I think it's get better but is that the right way to do it?

I have a tail issue which I haven't solved since I bought first logo 700.
I will post a couple videos down here to visualize the problem.
I make left-pirouetted piroflips and make reversal to right-pirouetted piroflips.
While making reversals (from left piro to the right) tail has lag with sounds like "vvzhhuuuuuh". And every reversal has different lag time. This influences on accuracy cause every time you couldn't expect what time will be for this lag. Last week I had a tail failure caused by damaging bevel gears while reversals.

Yesterday I tried another heli (not mine) .The tail behaves itself perfect. Sharp stops without any sounds of "vvzhuuuuh" and fast accelerating to opposite (right) pirouette.

So that causes a fear of doing any reversals on my Logo 700.

My heli setup is:
ESC: Kontronik 160A
Motor: Kontronik Pyro 750-55
Main rotor servo: MKS HBL 960
Tail servo: MKS HBL 990
Main blades: VTX 717 (but I also tried 697. It reduced tail rotor sounds but lag remains)

My V-bar Neo tail parameters:
Tail Expert
Accel. - 80 (yes, the value is maximum but only that parameter provides fast acceleration to opposite pirouette)
P Gain - 80 (I tried it 50 increasing by 10 steps even to 90). On lower values sound of "vzhuuuuh" becomes quieter but tail lag remains with too smooth control.
I Gain - 60 (I didn't changed it. As I think, this parameter if for heading hold gain and doesn't influence on reversals)
Stop Gain A - 25
Stop Gain B - 20
D Gain - 0
I limit and I Discharge - off

Tail Optimize
TC Coll - 30 (in the beginning I tried 22 and increased to 50. Nothing happens even during sharp climbs. The tail moves CCW a little and returns to the previous position)
TC Cycl - 8 (dint change)
Zero Col. - 0
Side A - 18 (set while flying with optimizer turned on)
Side B - 26 (set while flying with optimizer turned on)
Optimizer - off

General tail rotor settings
Expo - 10 (doesn't influence)
Rate ++ - 120
Tail Gain - 60

Before I flew on flybared helis with one axis tail gyro and I didn't have any problems with reversals.

The first video recorded yesterday. You could hear the sound of "vzhuuuuh" during reversals.

I was trying "brake dance". There reversals in this maneuver too and the same sound of "vzhuuuuh" with loading engine. I have done the same on my friends heli but there arent any tail rotor sounds, tail lags and rpm drops.

In all other cases tail behaves perfectly: hard tic-tocks,funnels, loops even during strong winds.

I’m currently building a logo 800. On page 8 step 5 in the manual a 4X26 bolt needs to be put in the tail gear with the help of a sillicone tube.
Could someone help me where exactly the bolt needs to be put, please?
Is this a temporary step while inserting the main shaft?
Is it a problem if i skip this step? In the manual of the logo 700 the same action is described.

Could someone of you help me out, please?

I've recently bought one of the new Logo 800 combo kits. I've completed the build of it but for the configuration of the VStabi I would need the number of poles the accompanied Scorpion 4535-380KV motor has. I cannot find this information in the manual so I was wondering if someone knows it here.

I had small crash with my logo 700. After rebuilding elevator servo rocking back and forth. I replace main shaft, main rotor yoke, main blades holder, spindle shaft, swashplate driver lever, entire head is new and the servo still rocking. Work fine just with the head with main blades holder but when I put
swashplate driver lever swashplate driver lever. I even bought 2 two new sets of swashplate driver lever and still have the same problem. Any advice/solution??

I fly reasonably hard 3D on this heli. Literally the only maintenance I do routinely on this Logo 700 is replacing the plastic ball links on the swash to main blade grips every 100 flights or so.

I know that 13t is probably sweet spot for regular flying. I’m only thinking since pyro has 500kv and Scorpion 520kv wouldn’t be better to use 14 t in order to keep system working less hard and when i decide to go bit wilder i have the room to go to 2000 rpm on head. By my calculations 1 tooth makers about 100 revolutions per minute on head (12s batteries of course) I can see K. Dahl and M.Cessena and other competition pilots ratio 9.71 14t on scorpion 4525-520

I have these new Futaba HPS HC 700 cyclic servos and BLS 276 tail servo. Will be feeding them from kosmik 200 BEC . Shall i stick with 7.4v as it’s rated value (6-7.4v) or without risk of burning them go to 8.4v as operational voltage. On 276 is no mentioning of operational voltage.
