Ich habe jetzt mal 2 Sab 580 nebeneinander gestellt und beide mit einer Neo verbunden. Wollte mal sehen wie sich die ganze Tandem Steuerung verhält. Sieht für mich alles logisch aus.

Aber eine Frage habe ich dennoch.
Wein ich nick nach vorne steuere ergibt sich ja ein Drehmoment was mit Heck / gieren ausgeglichen werden muss. Auch das ist logisch. Aber in welche Richtung würde denn der Heckmotor ausbrechen wenn er das macht?
Kommt es auf die Drehrichtung. des hinteren Rotors an? Also wenn er rechts Dreher ist würde das Heck nach rechts (Nase links) rausdrehen?

Konnte mit hochlegen oder Au nichts herausfinden. Da heist es das sich ein echter chinook nirgends hin rausdrehen wird bei nick Eingabe.

Könnte man bei einem Tandem jede Taumelscheibe mit verschieden servos betreiben z.B vordere TS. GDW 992 Und die hintere mit KST 2208 beides 8.4 servos.
Was würde passieren wenn man am vorderen Kopf vielleicht 2 cm weniger Durchmesser hätte ( hypothetische Frage)
Das bei Nick Heck dazu gemischt werden muss ist mir klar, könnte man es durch eine Makrocelle bei negativ Pitch umkehren um Rückenflug realisieren zu können?
Und ist es wirklich notwendig das beide Rotorköpfe extrem weich gelagert werden müssen. Was würde mit einer POM Dämpfung passieren?

Nach welchen Kriterien stellt ihr die Pitchkurve ein?
Beim RAW 700 habe ich eine lineare Kurve von -100 bis 100, eingestellt vom Vorbesitzer.
Bei meinem Goblin 570 habe ich eine lineare Kurve -88 bis +88.
Ich fliege 3D, Großflächig mit auch mal Einlagen mit viel Speed. Was habt ihr bei welchem Flugstil an Pitchkurve?

BK117 Heli-factory (based on Robbe?) PHT3 v1

EVO vbar running latest firmware
EVO Control running latest firmware

Heli was purchased secondhand with a different fbl installed.
Added the EVO and went to test fly.
(For background I also have EVO in starwood turbine lama, hirobo 30size convereted electric lama, align dfc 550)

Issue:
At the point of lift off the heli does a sudden and violent roll to the right.
Occasionally after the roll to the right, then then nose would lift until boom touched floor.

As you can imagine, this is scary!

To try and sort the issue:
re-checked balance of heli.
Changed 4 swash servos for brand new ones (0.06s , 22kg).
went through complete mechanical swash linkage setup from scratch.
re-checked swash rotation in vcontrol. rotated using 'left' button, as same setup as Rainer's bo105 video.
ensured not too much counter torque tail pitch - thought originally that the high position of tail and too much 'left rudder' might have caused this. have adjusted tail so now nose is drifting to right at point of lift off so not that.
played with head gain and agility etc across the range, played with tail gain and agility etc across range, but still does it.

Is it possible to extract logs from the Vbar to find what the cause of this might be, or better, to find what i need to change to stop it happening?

I recently purchased a Roban B412 from a friend who was previously flying it with a Bavarian Demon flight controller. I am having a difficult time with making the transition over to the VBAR Neo (I have several 3D helis all using VBAR though). The blades are balanced, weighed correctly, and I have confirmed all linkage lengths and leveled the swashplate.

I have also watched Rainer's video on how to adjust the phasing, and attempted to follow it every step of the way. Even though I have limited the elevator and aileron movements to their respective blades, upon trying to take off, the helicopter wobbles uncontrollably and I have to shut the heli down.

Was wondering if anyone else is flying a Roban 700 or 800 size heli and if so, whether they could help me troubleshoot?

ich möchte ein Tandem Chinook mit je 2 Servos an den Taumelscheiben anschaffen.

Aus der Beschreibung Grundsätzliches werde ich nicht schlau (genug).

1. Welche Servos werden an welchen Anschluss geklemmt?
Regeldiagramme ergibt
CH1: TS vorne
CH2: TS vorne
CH3 null
CH4 ????
TAIL: TS hinten
AUX1: TS hinten
AUX2 ???
AUX3 frei

2. Welchen Taumelscheibentyp wähle ich für 2 Servos/TS aus?
H4 (90°) ergibt für mich Sinn. Es ist dann nur CH1 und CH2 angeschlossen.
Die TS-Verdrehung ergibt sich dann in meinem Fall mit ca 0° oder ca 45°. Mal sehen...

3. Wie genau wird "Das 3. Servo kann genullt werden." gemacht?

4. Ist dann AUX3 noch frei?

I believe this is a bug in the swash plate end point level menu.

I apologize but I am not near a vbar / Heli as I am still in Thailand and won’t be back to the USA anytime soon, but wanted to see if anyone can shine some light on this issue.

Ich möchte mich an dieser Stelle vielmals für deine tolle Anleitung für den Aufbau von Scale Helis bedanken. Ich durfte einen gebrauchten MD-500 von Roban mit T-Rex 700 Mechanik für einen Freund auf den neuesten Stand umbauen. Ich hatte bislang keine Ahnung vom Einstellen eines Scalers (5-Blatt) und es ging - Dank deiner Anleitung - vollkommen problemlos !!! Das VStabi Evo arbeitet hervorragend und ich habe NULL Vibrationen odgl. Fliegt einfach nur toll !!!

Mein Freund kauft sich gerade eine gebrauchten Scaler 5 Blatt MD-500 (700er Größe), welche mit einem alten VStabi Mini Blueline mit Fremdsender betrieben wurde. Ich bin sein "Schrauber" und darf auf ein VStabi Neo oder Evo umbauen. Daher meine Frage: Wie bekomme ich am elegantesten das Setup vom Blueline in ein VStabi Neo/Evo?

PC Software anhängen und Werte abschreiben geht natürlich immer, aber geht das einfacher? Macht das überhaupt Sinn oder soll ich gleich ein neues Setup machen? Was ist zu beachten? Setup für "normale" Helis habe ich schon oft gemacht (viel Erfahrung) und funktioniert problemlos, Scaler bzw. 5 Blatt ist das allerdings mein Erster ...

Für die Zukunft der Plan aber aktuell wollte ich es erstmal so konfigurieren:)
Des Weiteren konnte ich auch keine kleinen Empfänger finden die zum Beispiel für Flugzeuge sind und speziell leicht sind für den indoor Bereich.

The head is setup for 0 deg at centre stick but when I go to check 8 deg I can only get neg 8 deg, is that because the swash is H3 120 deg (Norm) and not hr3 120 deg (Rev)?
Finally, I also see that if I hold down the button on the swash type there is the ability to change the angle, is this an electronic way to phase the head please?

I use VBar EVO VLink and the first version of VBC-touch.

It was a bit of a journey to find working parameters and mechanical setup for the tail control.
In short, the setup wizard led my kind of wrong here and some radical changes were needed.

Bin gerade am aufbau einer Roban 800 Hughes.
Habe schon einige 3D Helis mit Vstabi eingestellt und geflogen aber noch keinen großen Scaler..
Zum einsatz soll ein Vstabi Silverline kommen.
Was für ein Modell sollte ich als Grund Setup nehmen?
Gibt es sonst noch was zu beachten?

Wir haben eine Vario Augusta AW139, 2,2 m, 5-Blatt, CCW-Rotation. Schweben ist in Ordnung, Reaktion gut. Aber der Vorwärtsflug braucht etwas mehr Input für zyklische, vor allem linke Zyklen brauchen zu viel Input. Zum Beispiel, mit leicht rechtem Steuerknüppel im Vorwärtsflug zu kommen, voller linker Knüppel und immer noch nach rechts zu gehen, musste mit dem linken Seitenruder dem rechten Zyklus entgegenwirken.

Obwohl das Schweben in Ordnung ist, glaube ich, dass die allgemeine Stabilität verbessert werden kann. Muss ich mehr Verstärkung hinzufügen?
Es gibt einen Moment, in dem es ganz nach rechts ging und es sehr schwer war, es mit dem linken Zyklus zu stoppen.

Ich hatte immer Probleme mit der CCW-Rotation, da ich 2 Klingen, 3 Klingen oder 5 Klingen hatte.

Das Höhenruder reagiert zu stark, die Querruder nicht so sehr.

Die Phaseneinteilung der Taumelscheibe ist in Ordnung. Wenn ich nach vorne gebe, geht es geradeaus.

am Wochenende will ich nach einem ganz frischen Umstieg auf VBar Control und VStabi (Vorher war ich Futaba Fliegerin) den TDF und den TDSF einfliegen. Die letzten Flüge waren noch nicht super und ich muss fürs saubere fliegen noch bisschen was verändern.
Der TDSF schüttelt sich bei niedrigen Drehzahlen in der Rolle und der TDF macht dies auch aber dezenter.
Habt ihr evtl. Setups von euren, die ich mir einmal anschauen könnte.
Wichtig wäre mir eigentlich nur die Hauptrotor Daten.
Mit dem Heck bin ich bei beiden bislang nach den ersten Flügen zufrieden.

Setup the rescue function on my vbar, X=0 Y=0 Z=99 when heli sitting horizontal. I calibrated the setting on the vbar.

the next setting was left at the default 65, and I didnt use any of the beginner settings just used the precision and Rescue.

I tested on bench and everything seemed ok, ( i got the expected behaviour from the swash )

I setup the rescue as Rescue- only with precision selected as I had no other errors in vbar, low vibration a part from 3d flights of course.



However, when I had a need to use the rescue function, I got the rescue started message and the helicopter did not self level in part that is to say it went from inverted to upright, but then it shot off on some weird sharp angle to the right and crashed hard onto the deck, obviously this is not what I expected to happen.

I have trawled site but apart from the information I have supplied I cant find any other help for what has happened,

Flying for 10 years plus I shouldn't need to invoke the rescue feature however when I did I wish I hadn't

The logs dont show anything unexpected rescue start rescue end etc. the behaviour of the rescue function does not seem like what I should have expected A RESCUE not a CRASH.

Can someone help me please I dont know what else to say at this point

I fly from 1989 with heli and only heli and use for the last few years Vbarcontrol and now Vbarcontrol touch.(also Heli teacher)

I read and see all the video's from buddyboxing/3party transmitter connections and still have a question:

I would start beginning also with Plane flying and this is new to me.

Is it possible to use my VBCT as student and my Teacher witch use Futaba??
I know you can crossover buddy boxing with 2 Vbc and 3 party transmitters Butt then is the VBC a master and 3 party transmitters for student and i would like use it visa versa,Futaba teacher with masterswitch and my VBCT as student

On my flying field everyone fly with Heli and Plane with Futaba, (sorry iam the only one use VBCT)
so when i would get lessons ,my teacher have a Futaba and i have a VBCT.

Is it possible that Futaba are master (with buddy master switch) and i use my VBCT?? how do i must program it?

I know i must putt in the plane a Neo connected to Futaba reciever for crossover buddy boxing)

If this not works then i must buy a separate transmitter.
my teacher dont like VBCT..(they are all Futaba minded...stupid because VBC is the best transmitter)
