We now offer a new S.BUS-compatible VLink receiver tailored particularly to be used in OMPHOBBY Helis with built-in electronics. It is very small and light, so it fits into small indoor helis.

Wir bieten ab sofort einen neuen S.BUS-kompatiblen VLink-Empfänger an, der insbesondere für die Modelle von OMPHOBBY mit eingebauter Elektronik vorgesehen ist. Es ist sehr klein und wiegt nur 4.2 g, so dass er in die kleinen Indoor-Helis passt.

 


Additional Information for VBar Control Classic owners

Since VBar Control Classic (from 2014) is basically vintage now and does no longer receive ongoing software support, you can not directly program this receiver with the OMPHOBBY OFS3 Setup and Macrocells, from your VBar Control Classic.

But where there is a will, there is a way:

  • Please download the Setup File and the Macrocell File to your computer.
    Files from other sources (OMPHOBBY, or saved on a VBar Control Touch or EVO then copied) will most likely not work.
  • Connect your VBar Control Classic to your computer.
  • Copy both files to their respective folders, create the folder(s) if they do not yet exist; see screenshot about what belongs where.

  • Power up and bind your VLink S.BUS Telemetry Receiver for Micro Helis (or any other RX Only or VBasic).
  • Now go Model Setup, Save/Load Setup, and Load the OFS3_vbasic setup.
  • Then go Model Setup, Macrocell Setup, Save/Load, and Load the OFS3_macrocell setup.

Please mind that VBar Control Classic does not yet support named Macrocells, so it can be a bit of a game of hit and miss if you want to make changes there. On the upside, since all settings are supposed to be adjusted in OFS3 after all, there may be no need to mess with macrocells after all.
