ESC, AUX2, AUX3 channel failsafe position

Hi

In V6 software there is no more button for setting failsafe positions. So how are failsafe positions set for ESC/AUX2/AUX3 channels in a case of RX failure?

And one more question:

If you want to dial in the headspeed (ext. Gov) from TX as known in the past - this can be done routing the needed signal to AUX3 (only this one!). Ensure that a additional signal to "Our" motor status channel is needed which represents off, run and - if used - autorotation.

It is not possible to use AUX2 for throttle routing?

For ESC: The Motor off throttle value
For Aux2: - hold/center
For Aux3 - no pulses (ESC will shut off)

Just check with a servo ...

ahhh - sorry !!! Wolfgang is right. No Pulse is given (which turns all ESC to off).

So this answered my question why use only AUX3 for throttle routing.

Rainer or Uli, do you think that in future after update will be possible again set failsafe positions with sw as it was possible with V5? I want to use AUX2 for driving landing gear and hold/center positions are for me not usable, because it will drive landing gears to hidden/halfway position.

The failsafe can be fully set up as you prefer when flying with a VBar Control and their Makrocells.

There is no plan for 3rd party radios here.

But if i will use VControl with my nonVlink NEO both routing outputs AUX2/AUX3 will be occupied by Vlink sattelite connectors.

Yes - this is a reason to use a NEO with internal VLink if needed ;-)

Yes, i understand . But sometimes there is a problem with antennas placement and independent receiver/satellite is a better solution.

And another question ... it is possible to set macrocells (e.g. extend servo travels) and after that use nonVlink receiver and enjoy benefits of configuration created with VControl?

Just try it ... some things could work, but not tested - we fly VBar Control ;-)

If i will have VControl with my nonVLink NEO and satellite connected to AUX2/AUX3 . I will use ESC port for external governor. Will be possible to use AUX1 port for retracts?

Yes - of course ;-)

There is also ch4 possible with a VBC - if no servo is connected there ...
