Activation Autotrim problem

Hello Mikado Team!

Probably due to the large number of questions I can get ban , but I can't activate autotrim
My TX - Futaba 14SG. Connection between NEO and RX - S.BUS

After power up NEO with full positive collective on my TX I don't get double collective twitch confirm, only one. Checkbox Act is checked. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

Hi Alex,

please check your fail safe settings. Maybe the receiver is outputting center until it has a hand shake with the radio, which could be too late for the VBar to recognize full collective.

For 22 posts in 17 days, you won't get banned ... yet

Well - ok - Maybe you have a pitch curve in this flight condition or a "general pitch trim" (had this on a T8)?

Can you please doe this steps:

- connect to pc
- TX on, full coll.
- pc soft start - toggle to TX calib. tab
- Model on
- read the % for collective after init

I made screenshots in this sequence. Please see attacment in the first and second posts. I can make a video as a proof of my words.
14SG not have "general pitch trim" or I dont know about them. But, I disabled all trims and mix. And I deliberately made a screenshot "Servo monitor"

Can you extend your TX throw for pos. collective a bit? -Lets say to 110% and retry?

I check it. I thought about it, and tried to increase the endpoint from -101 to +101 (etc -/+102,-/+103,-/+110,-/+120). NEO displays in the soft 102,103,104,111,121, but I don't get double collective twitch confirm.
I will try to replace the evening R7003SB RX (with installed resistor on S.BUS) on R7008SB and and re-check all.

Any idea?

Ok Rainer, I try it in the evening, but I do not like this idea.
Strange thing is that Autotrim on Silverline with this setup - no problem!

Hi Alexey,

I remember we had a similar issue on 5.3, too: there, when collective was set up way out of the recommended range of values, auto trim would have activated but it would not have trimmed, because the range of values to detect hovering collective was exceeded.

Don't recall if it also affected enabling of auto trim.

On 5.3 don't affected enabling of auto trim.
On my Silverline was set 58 pos. collective. Autotrim? - no problem! Need to make a screenshot or video? I can show you the result of trimming!

Unfortunately this is a peculiarity mechanics Trex600 Nitro. I set the minimum possible servo arm size. The manufacturer recommends a larger size.

OK, there seems to be a difference. then. No need to make a video.

Until we have looked into this, you would have to follow Rainer's suggestion temporarily (you can re-set the value after the trim flight is done, of course).

Hallo,

muss das Thema nochmal aufmachen.

Habe selbes Problem. Komme nicht in den Autotrimmmodus.
Pitchweg ist auf 100%. Auch bis 125% probiert (Jeti per UDI).
VBar Control sagt FW aktuell, Vstabi PC Software ist 6.1.7 vom 21.8. Vstabi hat 6.1.33.
Failsafe aus auch schon probiert, dito mit direkter Signalausgabe.

Gibts ne Lösung?

hier mein Setup.

Pitch ist knapp unterhalb des Einstellbalkens. Wert müsste im Setup drin sein. Bei drei Blättern bracuhts halt wenig...

Genau daran liegts vermutlich, Lars.
Teste mal auf der Werkbank ab welchem Pitchwert er denn Doppelzuckt (ich glaube 70 oder so zu wissen).

Wäre cool wenn man das fixen könnte. Ich hab inzwischen drei Heli's mit drei Blättern...
