One Pilot, one Heli, one Thread - please no Threadnapping here!
The NEO is basically designed for use with VBar Control where everything is set up in the VBar - and nothing in the radio. This makes things like Model sharing, bind and fly etc. possible very easy -even with other radios. But everything can be changed in flight through the VBar Control of course. So using 3rd Party radios will get some compromises - which are there and won't be changed.
Anyway - Using it with a 3rd Party radio and ext. Gov gives you 3 headspeeds - this should be enough. OK - if you won't use a AR Bailout - and set this value to a flyable headspeed - you have a 4th one.
Only if you want more different headspeeds - you have to deal with the AUX3 for ESC out - but always have tor trigger the motor switch in its valid states for the NEO too.
