Free Swash Plate App

Hello,
My name is Daniel I am currently working on a TSA 700 Nitro. I came across an issue with setting up my collective and cyclic throws to 12deg and 8 deg respectively. Because the servos arms cannot be changed I reach the 12 deg and 8 deg with a 60% on the radio. Has anyone used the swash mixer feature and change the collective servo range in order to meet the 12deg and 8 deg and not be outside the preferred range of 80 to 100% in the setup screen?

Hi Daniel,

it won't make a difference. You might be able to tweak the numbers but it won't help with the physics, you still can only use like 60 % of the travel the servo was designed for, with it's drive and gearing. It'll always be like driving with the handbrake on, no matter if you lengthen or shorten the hand brake wire, to make the lever stick out more or less. With a strong motor (e.g. fast, powerful digital HV servos) you will probably hardly notice, but it would be better without
