it won't make a difference. You might be able to tweak the numbers but it won't help with the physics, you still can only use like 60 % of the travel the servo was designed for, with it's drive and gearing. It'll always be like driving with the handbrake on, no matter if you lengthen or shorten the hand brake wire, to make the lever stick out more or less. With a strong motor (e.g. fast, powerful digital HV servos) you will probably hardly notice, but it would be better without
