Is aluminum case faster then plastic?

I was at a funfly this weekend and heard from two separate people that the newer aluminum cased vcontrols are faster then the original plastic ones. Any truth to this or is the case the ONLY difference?

the electronics inside all VBar Controls in circulation so far are exactly the same.

The only difference 'inside' is the location of the second antenna, within the carrying handle for metal line radios while inside the top portion of the case for the standard radios. On the outside, there are different sticks and rotating knobs to match the quality of the metal case, but that wouldn't make it faster either

I find it interesting that people feel a difference with the aluminum case from a marketing perspective, I should say YES, it's better, faster, you NEED one

It indeed may feel faster, since the Case has more inertia, so its stabilzing the hands a bit more. But veeery personal dependant
It helps if you are very nervous as well...
