hobbywing V4 capacity with vcontrol

New Hobbywing V4 ESCs output various information, such as internal temperature, current draw and capacity. There is a thread on wiring up capacity with JLog and Spektrum DX9 / Jeti here: https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=755318

Are there any plans for VControl to read what Hobbywing V4 ESCs are supporting? I can help with any software development if needed - very interested! This would eliminate the need to wire up a VControl external current and capacity sensor.

Well - there is a communication with HW a long time ago but they seem not be willing / understand why we want them to implement our own protocol (as it is standard for all ESC who send us data) in their ESC and not use their (very strange lots of work to do) protocol.

What existing ESCs can talk back to VControl so that I do _not_ need to wire up an external capacity sensor, as outlined in the following link?

Hi,

Kontronik Kosmik and Jive Pro can, using the Kontronik TelMe thingie, and Scorpion Tribunus can, directly.

The Scorpion Tribunus can even be set up via VBar Control (connected to a NEO, with legacy devices you will still need the Scorpion Software and USB dongle).

The Scorpion ESCs also work very well with the VBar Governor, while the Kontronik ESCs better run their own governor.
