possible to sideload vbasic to older black units?

I have several older black full-size vbar units. I have switched two of them to vplane. But, now I'm curious if I can also load the Vbasic software to make them a regular receiver. Is this possible?

Nope - but what about dialing all gains down on VPlane - or using Makrocells for "straight Output" if needed.

I've tried dialing down the gains, but it still felt like there was some input by stability--flat spins and tumbles didn't feel right.

I might have to go back to university for macrocells. I started reading about it and my eyes crossed. I may give it another go if I'm feeling up for a challenge though ;-)
