Parts Support for Xxtreme 700

Hi,

Can I ask what has happened to part availability for the Xxtreme 700?

I have noticed that the Xxtreme 700 has been taken off the Mikado website and searching for part numbers gets no results.

I have been previously told that Mikado will still be making and supplying parts for Xxtreme 700 for those that still have the heli.

Obviously there are still alot of common parts with Xxtreme 800 and even with the new Logo 700. Such as the head as I can choose to replace the older Xxtreme 700 head with the Logo 700 head as they use the same mainshaft etc.

But it's the mainframe parts that I worry about and whether I will still be able buy them in the future.

Hi,

the 700 XX has been moved to the ancestral halls grinning smiley here.

Most of the spare parts are still available, and we will try and supply parts for quite some time.
Later on you would still have the possibility to switch to the new chassis and parts, many of the parts of the mechanics/gear train etc. are compatible anyway.

Kind regards

Thanks for getting back.

Good to hear Mikado will still be making parts for the Xxtreme 700.

Just looked it up now. When I tried the other day, parts would not come up when I tried a search but now they do so i'm a happy flier again. ;-)

I will most likely by the new Logo 700 shortly but will always have the Xxtreme 700 as part of my fleet too. Too nice not too.

Will you be offering any conversion kits such as the following?

1. Chassis combo including plastic frames, canopy, battery tray and all hardware
2. Rotor head
3. Tail box, fins and plastic clamps

Hi,

that's pretty much what we had discussed here, yes.

Hello,

I'm a looking for the Lower Frame Stiffeners 1mm for the Logo 700XX. Can't seem to find any, the website indicates they are not available. Does that mean they are out of stock or they are no longer available? I am trying to rebuild my 700xx and the stiffeners are all that I am lacking. Could you please direct me to where I can obtain them?

Best regards,

David

Hi David,

demand has become so low, and for quite some time, that we will probably not manufacture parts for the 700XX any more :-/

I found a set here: https://www.rubinrc.se/522-Logo-700-XXTREME?p=3

But I would ask if they really have it in stock.

Kind regards

Eddie; Is there a list of parts needed to convert available?
Or is it basically all parts listed under logo700/chassis/ ?

Hi,

I'm afraid there has been next to none demand so far, so you would be on your own, comparing manuals.

On the other hand, if it's still in one piece, why not sell it, and get an all new 700?
Or if it's in pieces, keep or sell what's still OK, then: see above.

Although it might sound appealing to convert, it's usually more pain than gain, in the end ...

I was thinking as an option for my customers. Or maybe for me when I crash it. winking smiley
It looks that it shouldn't be inpossible to use the new L700 boom and torque-tube without to much modifikations.

Hi,

depends what you need to replace: boom and torque tube, cut to size. I don't know the dimensions by heart, but you could end up with a slightly shorter boom.

Chassis, could be more of an effort, but for sure there are hardly any spare parts left any more, throughout the world :-/

Kind regards
