Logo 700SX Specs

I'm curious if the new Logo 700SX (or whatever the new plastic framed 700 will be called) will have a spring tensioner or some other form of automatic belt tensioning design so that we will not need to loosen the tail-case and manually change the tension by pulling or pushing on the tail-case to tighten (for cold weather flying) or loosen the belt (for extra hot weather flying) like we do for the 500-600 series?

I know the 700XX has the dual stage and torque tube but it was my understanding that the new 700SX will have a completely belted tail and not torque tube.

no the new logo 700 have got the same drivetrain to the tail rotor, like the actual 700 Xxtreme with a torque tube.

Alex is right, the only belt on the 700 is the stage between main gear and angular gearbox to the torque tube

So in your opinion, will the new 700SX be a hard 3D machine with 12s 4000mAh power or more like 12s, 5000mAh?

I know Kyle, Dave and others regard the 700XX as being better with 14s power for hard 3D.

per calculation, the new 700 will lose up to 400 g / 14.11 oz compared to the current 700 XXtreme.
It will still be a 12s machine, and I think 12s 5.000 will be the choice.

Hard 3D, yes of course we build it for pilots like Kyle, Mirko, Ofek for example and of course for you!

What's the weight of the current protoype and with which setup? Will sub 5000g be possible with 12s 4400/5000?
Would be great for all pilots here in germany .

the AUW will probably still be over 5,000 g unless you use the lightest components you can get, and a light battery pack.

Can't say for sure yet.

Since I will already have 12s 4000 packs for my 600SE, I could try them.

Since they are strapped to a Trex700 battery tray however, they will have be removed to mount on the 700SX.

I will just plan on buying new 6s 5000mAh packs for the 700SX.
