Unresponsive throttle servo with Nitro Governor

On multiple nitros I have using the Vbar governor I've experienced a weird unresponsive throttle servo on initial power on. Sometimes when I power on my Nitros the throttle servo does not move at all unless I let the heli sit for a few minutes. There have even been times when the throttle servo doesn't move at all until I restart the vbar a few times.

What servo is it? Does it work when you use the servo port next to the sensor port (need to select in the software, too).

Failsafe perhaps, try lowereing stick to cut, does that trigger it to work?

Program a "throttle cut" switch that can be also used to shut down the engine.
Then hit it once after the V-bar is awake and things should be back to normal.

My governor gives me throttle control only after it has seen a very low throttle signal, below idle.
I think it's intended this way, like an ESC on an electric that won't arm if throttle is > 0.

Yep, thats it. We need once a "motor stop" to get armed.

My vbar behaves the same way however it is not consistent. Sometimes the servo is unresponsive until I hit throttle cut and other times it works straight away. I'm sure this is not what was intended.

We won't arm the throttle output until once the "motor off" was there for a short time. Safety feature for electrics to avoid accidental spoolup!

If it won't work everytime, have a look at the throttle channel in PC soft and possibly lower the %-values (endpoint, motor off) from TX a bit ;-)
