VStabi types, history and differences:
The Mikado VStabi has been very popular since Mikado started production, so it has been necessary to produce 9 versions in the short time from summer 2006 up to the end of 2010.
With every new version, the VStabi System has gotten some improvements.
Now, the question is how to identify them, especially if you want to have a look at the "pirouette optimization" and for use in a nitro or gas (IC) heli.
Here is a list of the 8 versions manufactured until now:
Owners of the older VStabi units with serial connector (1. and 2. serial) can use the pirouette optimization procedure to find out which sensor they have.
1. Serial: Serial connector, external converter serial=>USB, sensor for electric helicopter, sensor with metal case, Value for pirouette optimization round 42, Serial starts with 9.
2. Serial: Serial connector, external converter serial=>USB, sensor for low vibrating gas/nitro all turbine and electric helicopters, sensor with metal case, Value for pirouette optimization round 30, Serial starts with 9.
3. Serial: USB "on board", sensor for low vibrating gas/nitro/turbine and electric helicopters, sensor with metal case, Value for pirouette optimization round 30, Serial starts with 9.
4. Serial: USB "on board", new sensor for all helicopters, sensor with plastic case, Serial starts with 14.
5. mini VStabi: USB "on board", all-in-one solution, sockets for 2 spektrum satellites, usage up to 1m rotor diameter in electric helis only, Serial starts with 15.
6. Serial: The same as 4. Serial and including additional Spektrum satellite sockets, Serial starts with 141.
7. mini VStabi Blueline: USB "on board", blue coloured body with a red V, sockets for 2 spektrum satellites, usage in electric helis only, Serial starts with 151.
8. Standard VStabi Blueline: The same as 6. Serial but with latest sensor technology.
