VStabi Pioneer of Flybarless

For special situations, e.g. the usage of VStabi together with some OS where no direct VStabi USB driver exists it will be possible to run the VStabi controller as a standard serial USB device.

The advantage of this mode is that we can use the standard Silabs drive for the USB-VCP controller.

But to set this mode you need once a Windows machine which dtects the VStabi and installs the VStabi USB driver. The complete installation of the PC software is not necessary.

Download the file, unzip it and run. Now connect The VStabi and Windows should do the rest. If not, install the driver manually from the now generated folder.

To convert the VStabi into VCP you need the VStabi VCP tool

Unzip it into a folder. Double-click on the VBarVCP-COM.exe file. The program will start and you wer able to convert the Stabi as shown on the screen now.

As the VSTabi is now a VCP Stabi you need the Silabs VCP drivers. You can download them here:

If you want to switch back to USB-VStabi this will be no problem. You can use the program above again to reverse the settings. Of course you will need the VStabi-USB driver after this procedure again.
